 FAQs

  • While I am based in Fort Worth, Texas, I am excited to share that I am now licensed in Oklahoma and accepting OK clients for online therapy!

I am able to see those who live anywhere in Texas and Oklahoma for virtual counseling sessions.

  • Yes! I can say both from research and personal experience, online therapy is just as effective as in-person sessions for most issues, including anxiety, grief, and postpartum challenges.

I use a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform so you can connect from home in a private, comfortable space. Especially for my clients who are new moms, this means you can see me while baby is napping, you can feed during session, and you can come as you are.

  • I specialize in helping support those who are grieving the death of a loved one, entering into motherhood, or are just struggling with life transitions.

Many of my clients come to me for postpartum planning, processing birth experiences, addressing birth trauma and postpartum depression and anxiety, pregnancy or child loss… Really if you feel like you need a warm, empathetic support to help you address any of the speed bumps life has put in your way, I’m your girl.

  • I’m so excited to have in-person availability for my clients located in Fort Worth, Texas.

My office is centrally located, comfortable, and welcoming. At this time, I have limited in person sessions available on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Whether you would like to do in-person only or a mix of office and virtual, reach out to me to see if I have room in my schedule!

  • 50 minute sessions will be a charge of $165. Your intake session will be a one-time higher fee of $180 for a 75 minute session.

  • The short answer is, no. At this time I am not taking insurance. I can however provide you a Super Bill you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.*

In an ideal world, insurance companies would make it simpler for clients and therapists to connect and work together. However, with insurance companies dictating how long we can see each other and what treatments are prescribed, I find that I am able to do more authentic work with clients when insurance is not involved. A diagnosis that follows you and prescriptive treatment do not align with my counseling ideals.

*Note, it is your responsibility to check with your insurance company to see if they offer out of network reimbursement.

  • With the exception of your initial intake appointment, which is 75 minutes, typical individual sessions will be 50 minutes long.

  • The frequency is dependent on you and what you have going on in your life. I like to begin by meeting weekly if possible so that we can establish rapport and get into our counseling groove, but we will work together to come up with a frequency that meets your needs and schedule.

  • Absolutely. Supporting moms through postpartum transitions is a core part of my practice. Whether you’re adjusting to a new identity, coping with anxiety or depression, or grieving parts of the parenting experience, we’ll create space for both the joy and the hard parts of motherhood. Therapy can help you feel steadier and can help you find your way back to feeling like “you” again.

  • Similar to session frequency, this one is highly dependent on you. We can check in regularly to reassess our goals for treatment and see if less frequency is needed.

  • My practice not only accepts but celebrates all. I am committed to creating an affirming, safe, welcoming environment for all individuals, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, family structure, or background. My practice honors the unique journeys of LGBTQ+ parents, non-binary individuals, and anyone navigating the complexities of parenthood. No matter who you are or how you identify, you deserve support, understanding, and compassion.
