Women’s mental health deserves to be a priority, no matter what stage of life you are in.

Counseling for maternal mental health, postpartum anxiety, postpartum depression, and postpartum mood disorders in Fort Worth, Texas

Therapy for Maternal Mental Health

Do you feel anxious? Irritable? Weighed down by expectations and carrying the mental load? Mental health challenges are exceedingly common during pregnancy, postpartum, and throughout the ups and downs of parenthood. Together, we’ll work toward rediscovering your spark and finding a path forward as you embrace the highs and lows of parenthood. While much of my focus is on moms, I welcome and affirm all parents, including those in LGBTQ families or who identify beyond traditional gender roles.

It’s okay to ask for help.

Not only is it okay - it makes you an excellent mom.

Good moms worry. Good moms have hard days. Good moms second guess their choices.

I am here for you no matter what your journey in parenthood has looked like. Whether you have navigated IVF, adoption, have a traditional family structure or are facing the challenges of single parenting.

Becoming a mother made me incredibly passionate about Maternal Mental Health. I pursued certification in perinatal mental health from Postpartum Support International so that I could augment my own personal experience with in-depth clinical knowledge and an evidence-based framework to help you tackle one of the most difficult transitions in life. It is my honor to walk alongside those who are trying to become parents, pregnant, or in the early stages of parenthood, validating your experiences and helping you find joy.

most people wonder about these things
before starting

  • I do not take insurance, and my services are considered out-of-network. Many of my clients use HSA/FSA benefits, and some get partial reimbursement from their insurance when they submit the monthly superbill I provide.

  • Most clients schedule sessions weekly or bi-weekly so that support is consistent and progress remains steady .

That said, therapy with me is collaborative — if you think a different frequency would work better for you, we’ll work together to find the balance.

  • Babies are always welcome in session — whether you need to feed, rock, or check on baby, you do what you gotta do. Therapy can sometimes be easier when you have childcare, but I know that isn’t always possible postpartum.

For older kids, I recommend arranging childcare so that you can fully focus on yourself and get the most out of our time together.

  • The standard session fee is $165 per 50–55 minute session. Limited sliding-scale spots are available when needed.

  • I would say I am collaborative, direct, and human in my approach to therapy. My job is not to simply nod and validate. My clients find me to be an empathetic listener as well as an active participant, offering insight and asking questions that get you the meaningful change you’re looking for.

Clinically, I operate from an attachment perspective, meaning we look at relational patterns throughout your life (especially early ones) to better understand why you show up the way you do now.

I incorporate elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and even expressive arts or personality theories for those interested.
